Rebecca Bogart Piano Studio
Rebecca Bogart has thirty years of experience teaching students of all ages. Her students have been recognized both in the San Francisco Bay Area's Junior Bach Festival, East Bay Music Festival, MTAC Alameda County Branch’s Memorial Scholarship Festival Recitals, Certificate of Merit Honors Recitals, the Berkeley Piano Club’s Van Waynen Scholarship, and nationally and internationally, winning prizes such as National Finalist at the Canadian National Music Competition, and Downbeat Student Music Award for Best Original Song, and appearing on NPR’s popular radio show ‘From the Top’.
Rebecca has won numerous solo performance awards, including the Audience and Romantic Music prizes in the 1996 Bay Area Keyboard Arts Competition, top honors in the Pacific International Piano and Carmel Music Society Competitions and an Alfred Hertz fellowship from the Department of Music at the University of California at Berkeley. In July 1998 she performed in Naples and Sicily and was a prizewinner at the Ibla International Piano Competition.
She has given recitals and master classes at Harvard University, Northeastern University, Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois and at Lewis and Clark College and Portland State University in Oregon.
